NEWS 2012: "Re:surrection" - Re:sumers, Copenhagen
Miss Yula was chosen to participate in the project resumers addressing sustainability. The task was to transform the reusable objects for aesthetic art objects.
NEWS 2011: "Picasso & The Six Senses" - Saturday Gallery, Copenhagen
MISS YULA has taken a swim into the joyful universe of Paplo Picasso. Everything in nearest radius has been felt, explored and processed in Yula's "Picasso catalysator". This transformation has resulted in a serie of paintings. MARIA RADHA has been decieved by Picasso's shapes and colours. She has created her own univers, which she refers to as defragmented cubism. She has worked abstract with expression from the world of music, which has been twisted into functionality.
NEWS 2011: "Optipism" - Dada Post, Berlin
The Optipism Project, which is based in Copenhagen, is built on the Optipism Manifesto written by Denis Rivin. OPTIPISM. Under this name a group of curators, visual artists and poets has been formed to create art in many forms, both optimistic and pessimistic, both surface and depth, both serious and play, both wanting to augment and change the world and to sense and experience the now. Through art to explore, to comment, react and act in the world as it is today.
NEWS 2011: "Demolition Tapir" - A Gallery, Copenhagen
25 artist will be delivering pieces of art for the cause of WWF and their work to save the rainforest. The pieces of art will be sold at the auctionhouse Lauritz.com
NEWS 2010: "The Temp File Project" - Copenhagen
The title refers to temperary files, which are copies of various things we proceed on the computer no matter the copyrights. But we actually download them and store them. So the question is "What is an original and what is a copy and when do we copy?" The artist, who's the flagholder of the project manipulated the image of The Little Mermaid, were the stone (The Little Mermaid sits on a rock) is the only original element remaing. Then the artist copied the manipulated object and invited 5 artist to manipulate futher with that copy. To hang on to the comparison with the computerprocesses, she outsourced her art. My contribution was a collage of her manipulation of The Little Mermaid plus a sculpture called "The Little Warmaid", which is made out of readymades including a souvenier of the The Little Mermaid, which again is a copy, with copyrights.
NEWS 2010: "Mindswapper" - ArtExchange, Copenhagen
MISS YULA has builded an installation that are cable of swapping your negative thoughts into positive thoughts. It will be showned at the artexhibition ArtExchange. Lean back, put on the thinkcap an listen to the build in hypnosis. You will be able to control your thoughts. Hapiness is your choice.
NEWS 2009: Miss Yula in Asia to research about our relationship to the DEATH
"Mortarium" is the title of the ongoing project about our realtionship to the death. The trend, at the moment, that we are trying to stage our own death. The coffin is individual, we get burried in our favorite partydress and soft popsong will be sung in the church. The funeral is our last statement, which should make us worth remembering. The danish sociologist
- Michael Hviid Jacobsen has done a thoroughly research and has written several books about how the danish people relate to the death in modern time.On a journey to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonisia Miss Yula will try to find different point of views on the death.
NEWS The installation "Slave" - Artville, Berlin
Miss Yula will be participating at Artville Berlin with the installation "Slave". The installation contains an modern architectural building, where you can experience a living hamster who has a hectic and stressed life between treadmills and workstations. The installation questions the way the society dictates the values in life. If your only goal in life is to fulfill the demands of the society, then you might end up having an "treadmill depression".
The installation is a mix between sculptur, architecture, hamster-domicil and installation. The installation is futher more interactive, because you can interact with the hamster and the installation will be "alive" due to the hamster activity. Futhermore will the installation be captured by a camera and projected on the wall, which means the the audience can be a part of the installation as well.
NEWS 2008: Miss Yula - Artist of the year
The artcritic Tue Lutken has appointed Miss Yula to be ARTIST OF THE YEAR at Artville|08 with the installation "Slave". The price was to be obtained automatically at the Artville exhibition in Berlin + media covering in the most read art magazine in Denmark.
NEWS 2008: Architectual hamster domicil - Galleri X, Copenhagen
The installation "Slave" is a architectual hamster-domicil, that represent the modern life. Within the modern, steril and minimalistic hamster-domicil the hamster lives a hectic and stressed life in between threedmills and workstations. The installation is a mixture between sculptur, architecture, hamster-domicil and a interactive installation.

DR is making a portrait of the artist and the person MISS YULA. The portrait will be a radiomontage, which will be send in connection with Miss Yula's next exhibition.
